Photo Pin is made to be easy to understand. Here are the important details.
Do Photo Pin photos stay on my phone?
Yes. Photo Pin stores photos in private on-device storage. It has no account and no cloud upload.
How does Photo Pin use Maps?
When Android location permission and phone Location are enabled, Photo Pin can save a coordinate with a new photo. Maps opens only after you choose Open in Maps.
Can it read a receipt or note?
Yes. Choose Copy text, select the needed part of the photo, then read, copy or share the selected text.
Does visual search happen automatically?
No. Visual search is optional. Photo Pin asks for confirmation before sharing a visible crop with a visual-search app you choose.
What happens when Location is off?
You can still take a photo. Photo Pin shows Location off, and that photo will not receive a map location until you enable Location in your phone settings.
Can I share a location or photo?
Yes. Choose Share, then choose whether to share the saved location or the photo. Android opens WhatsApp, email or another available sharing app only after you make that choice.
How long are photos kept?
You can set a photo to 3 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, or keep it until you permanently delete it.
